We are pleased to advise that Round 2 of the 2013 OLT Grants is now underway, closing on 2 August 2013.
CHELT will be holding an Information Session on Friday 19 April, for staff who are interested in developing Seed Grant and Extension Grant proposals for this round. There will also be further workshops on developing and writing grant proposals. See the Awards & Grants calendar on the CHELT website for dates of all sessions. For staff who submitted an application in Round 1 2013, the results of this round are not yet known.
Please note that the 2014 Round 1 dates have been brought forward, and will close on November 4, 2013. From Round 1 in 2014, applicants will be able to develop Expressions of Interest for Innovation and Development Grants, and the Leadership for Excellence in Learning and Teaching Grants, or full proposals for Seed Grants or Extension Grants. Round 2 will only be open to full proposals invited from successful Expressions of Interest in Round 1.
With the recent announcement that the major grants programs and the fellowships programs of the Office for Learning and Teaching have been listed as Category 1 on the 2013 Australian Competitive Grants Register, we anticipate that the OLT Grants will become an important source of research income to ANU.
If you or your colleagues intend submitting a OLT grant proposal, either with the ANU as the lead institution or with colleagues through another institution, we ask that you submit the Notice of Intent to Submit an OLT Grant Application, linked from the 'Four step guide for ANU applicants' on the CHELT website. The DVC(A) has requested that from 2013 only staff who have submitted an Intent to Submit by 13 May 2013 will be endorsed and permitted to proceed with submitting to the OLT.
