  • Reframe: QUT’s Evaluation Framework
QUT is embedding a multidimensional evaluation framework to further strengthen learning and teaching and to provide staff with more useful tools and data to help them transform their students’ learning outcomes and experiences. Reframe: QUT’s Evaluation Framework was developed through a three-year, user-led, stakeholder approach to widespread organisational change designed to meet stakeholders’ needs. This evaluation approach was developed through collaborative efforts led by QUT’s Learning and Teaching Unit, with relevant reporting and technology departments, user-led stakeholder engagement and contributions by students, staff, line managers, institution executive and external groups. The evidence based evolution of the Evaluation Framework included: analysis of scholarly literature and environmental scans across the higher education sector (Alderman, et al., 2012); researched development of the conceptual theory (Alderman, et al., in press 2013); the incorporation of the stakeholder voice, and the framing within project management principles (Alderman & Melanie, 2012). This presentation offers insights and experiences from Reframe and will focus on the project, evaluation pilots and implications and interpretations for consideration by Science at ANU.
